Lawrence is an experienced commercial dispute and litigation lawyer. He has acted as the instructing lawyer for a number of high-profile cases at the Federal Court, NSW Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

His areas of practice cover: –

  • Atanaskovic v Birketu  (Chorley exception on employed solicitor costs)

  • CIMIC Group Limited v AIG Australia and Ors (s128 Certificate)

Who I work with and what I do

Lawrence works with the class action team assisting in matters in relation to cladding as well as other commercial disputes. Lawrence also provides observation papers and research capability for AI related matters.

Lawrence has well developed knowledge in his areas of practice and business acumen gained from working in commercial environments including media, IT, accounting, finance, and banking.

What I like to do

Lawrence has keen interests in Anthropology/Psychology and ongoing fast paced development of technologies, specifically, AI and the Law. The connections between these areas are intricate, subtle yet obvious. Lawrence aspires to deliver a set of PH.D research that will answer some of the burning questions in the legal profession.

In his spare time, Lawrence is a keen musician involved in a number of ensembles and orchestras in the Sydney metropolitan area, including the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra.
