CLASS ACTION IN RESPECT OF IG MARKETS LIMITED AND AN ASSOCIATED ENTITY

William Roberts Lawyers has filed a class action against IG Markets Limited and IG Australia Pty Limited (together IG) in respect of loss or damage suffered by retail investors who acquired “contracts for difference” (CFDs) and/or “binary options” (binaries) from IG.

The class action alleges that IG engaged in misleading, deceptive and unconscionable conduct in its supply of CFDs and Binaries to retail investors and as a result retail investors suffered loss or damage by acquiring highly risky and unsuitable financial products.
