I have been working with William Roberts Lawyers since February 2018, shortly before completing my Practical Legal Training and being admitted to practice. I have been heavily involved in commercial litigation and, in particular, the insurance sector representing and advising individual clients and major insurers across various jurisdictions. Prior to joining William Roberts Lawyers, I gained experience as a paralegal in a government and administrative law team and as a law clerk in the area of personal injury law.
Who I work with and what I do
My main area of practice is commercial litigation, principally involving subrogated insurers. My recent experience includes:
- Advising on complex property damage recovery;
- Appeals to the Supreme Court of Victoria;
- Fraud claims;
- Indemnity and insurance contract disputes;
- Subrogated motor vehicle insurance claims; and
- Appearances at the Victorian Magistrates’ Court.
Where I studied
I have a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from Monash University.
What I like to do
I am a keen and experienced cyclist, and a home-grown (but far from adept) mechanic. When not working, I can usually be found working on the next DIY project.
