Who I work with and what I do
Roshane advises insurer clients on complex quantum and liability issues arising in motor defence matters, as well as property recovery claims, complex fraud and indemnity issues.
She regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court for pre-hearing conferences in motor defence proceedings and has represented clients at VCAT in relation to property recovery disputes.
She has successfully defended claims where fraud was identified through meticulous research and strategic engagement with expert witnesses.
What I like to do
Outside of work, Roshane enjoys taking long outdoor walks and trekking along scenic trails. When not exploring nature, she can often be found relaxing by the beach on sunny days. She is passionate about community health initiatives and has participated in the 2024 Mother’s Day Classic run/walk supporting breast and ovarian cancer research. Roshane was a spokesperson at the 2024 Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness projects organised by the Rotary Club of Kandy, Sri Lanka.
