I am in the class actions team. I am also experienced in insurance litigation, having litigated and negotiated favourable outcomes for institutional clients such as IAG, Allianz and Auto and General Insurance.
Who I work with and what I do
I have advised institutional clients regarding quantum and liability disputes, compiled evidence and advocated for institutional clients in the Courts across various jurisdictions including the Local Court of New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia.
The matters I am currently involved in within the Class Actions team include:
- The Suncorp Super Class Action,
- Sims Metal Class Action and
- The MLC Super Class Action.
Both the Suncorp Super Class Action and the MLC Super Class Action concern payments of conflicted remuneration to financial advisers using member’s funds while the Sims Class Action concerns claims arising from allegations of contravening conduct by Sims Metal.
Where I studied
I have a combined Bachelors degree in Law and International Studies from the University of New South Wales.
What I like to do
If I’m not catching up with friends, or obsessing over and taking photos of my dog, I like to keep fit by working out at the gym, swimming, yoga and Pilates.
