Muska Namdar

I am a commercial litigator representing insurer and individual clients.

I have experience across various Australian Jurisdictions and have provided advice in commercial litigation, primarily involving subrogated insurers, indemnity disputes and subrogated motor vehicle matters.

I often:

  • Advise on complex property damage recovery;
  • Fraud claims;
  • Indemnity and insurance contract disputes; and
  • Subrogated motor vehicle insurance claims.

Prior to joining William Roberts, I was working as a paralegal for 2 years in the General Insurance practice group at a National Law Firm. My role predominantly focused on handling motor and property claims from inception to resolution – either by settlement or through the litigation process. I have also assisted in larger litigation matters by drafting legal documents or conducting research.

Who I work with and what I do
I work closely with insurers and insureds on motor and property matters spanning across various jurisdictions including the Melbourne Magistrates Court, the Magistrates Court of South Australian and the Magistrates Court of Tasmania.

Where I studied
I have a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University.

What I like to do
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and testing out my culinary skills in the kitchen. Being the foodie that I am, if my culinary skills aren’t producing the outcome I’d like, you’ll catch me trying out different restaurants around Melbourne.
