Effie has worked with a very broad client base including, high profile individuals, insurers, banks, SME’s, trustees, and insolvency practitioners and focuses on providing effective and pragmatic advice, in an approachable and understandable manner, to enable the efficient and effective resolution of all matters.
Effie, together with Robert Ishak, recently acted on behalf of Dr Darshn in the matter of Avant Insurance Limited v Darshn [2022] FCAFC 48, currently being one of the leading authorities on s40(3) of the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth).
