I am an Accredited Specialist (Commercial Litigation) with experience in building and construction, insurance, and class action litigation.
Who I work with and what I do
I work with a highly talented team that specialises in commercial litigation.
My experience includes:
- Acting in class actions, including shareholder actions, as well as mass tort and consumer actions;
- Advising litigation funders and insurers as to prospects of potential class actions;
- Acting for builders, developers and owners in building and construction disputes in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Court of Appeal;
- Acting for high profile individuals in multi-party Supreme Court proceedings involving alleged breaches of directors’ and officers’ duties and alleged misleading and deceptive conduct;
- Acting for contractors on disputes arising from major construction projects, such as the Gold Coast desalination project and the Wollar to Wellington transmission line project;
- Acting on property damage and insurance fraud matters
- Achieving successful outcomes for businesses and individuals involved in general commercial disputes; and
- Advising on disputes arising from commercial and property transactions.
Where I studied
I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and Bachelor of Laws. I also have a Master of Laws from the same university.
What I like to do
I like listening to podcasts from the leading minds in leadership, technology, psychology, psychoanalysis and biology. I also like listening to non-fiction audio books concerning the same topics. I like listening because I can learn while driving, doing housework or exercising.
I am also fluent in Mandarin.
