Anthony Metcalfe

I am currently engaged in shareholder class actions and other representative proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. I also assist with matters involving complex multi-party commercial litigation.

Prior to joining William Roberts Lawyers, I gained valuable legal experience in volunteering at Community Legal Centres. Throughout my studies, I also gained significant experience in customer service and objection handling whilst working in the retail industry for over 8 years.

Who I work with and what I do

In addition to being engaged in shareholder class actions and commercial litigation, I also undertake matters relating to subrogated recoveries and settlements for insurer clients in the small claims division of the Local Court of New South Wales.

Where I studied

I hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from Western Sydney University.

What I like to do

Never one to shy away from trying new things, I have a newfound love for roller-skating and rock-climbing. I enjoy 80s music, collecting vinyls and everything vintage. I also am currently planning the wedding of the century with my fiancé.
