Joseph Braverman

Joseph has a diverse practice across insurance law, building & construction as well as class actions.

Joseph graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction, in which he obtained the best assignment for Equity and Trusts and Administrative Law.

During his University studies Joseph undertook an internship with His Honour Judge Frank Saccardo, and was a legal research assistant to Julian Burnside AO QC. 

In 2016, Joseph was a finalist in Vienna representing Deakin University in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which is the most prestigious legal competition in the world. He was also recognised as the winner of the Deakin Senior Moot Competition and the Deakin Witness Examination Competition. Throughout University, he tutored law students in Legal Principles and Skills, Contract Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law; and was the Director of Industry Careers in the Deakin Law Students’ Society in 2017.

Prior to joining William Roberts Lawyers, Joseph was a graduate lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers where he gained invaluable experience in personal injury law and class actions.
