Rowan Vickers

Rowan commenced his legal career as a commercial contract and litigation lawyer.

Rowan has acted for a number of corporate and private clients in a range of transactional and litigious matters, including negotiating major commercial contracts, intellectual property disputes, commercial property disputes, advising on breaches of contract and claims under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Rowan is experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts and resolving contract disputes.


Rowan’s recent experience includes:

  • Drafting and advising on shareholder and joint venture agreements for the purchase of a managed investment fund
  • Drafting and advising on a litigation funding agreement for claims for breaches of continuous disclosure obligations by listed companies.
  • Advising on a contested development application for a major subdivision and commercial leasing disputes; and
  • Drafting general commercial agreements including commercial leases, building contracts and business sale agreements.
Rowan’s exposure to diverse litigation and transactional work has driven his ability to recognise and anticipate legal risk, and implement solutions tailored to the client’s specific commercial objectives.
