Pat Maltese

Pat practises in the areas of insurance law, building & construction law and commercial litigation. He has carriage of litigated matters across numerous jurisdictions in New South Wales.

Pat has acted for insurers, insured individuals and companies, owners corporations and corporate entities throughout Australia and internationally.

Pat takes a practical and solutions-based approach to litigation and enjoys being transparent and informative with clients to ensure that they are informed and guided throughout the legal process.

His recent experience includes:

  • Subrogated recoveries and complex property damage claims and recoveries;
  • Building & construction insurance, particularly home warranty insurance claims, litigation involving owners corporations and recoveries;
  • Advising in litigious matters concerning the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth);
  • Workers compensation claims and recoveries, including the administration of statutory workers compensation funds; and
  • Complex matters involving financial institutions.

Pat has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney.
