Katrina Li

 

Katrina works on class actions, commercial litigation and regulatory compliance matters for a range of corporate clients including financial institutions, litigation funders and publicly listed companies.

Her current practice includes shareholder class actions and other representative proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW. Katrina manages complex multi-party commercial litigation and also identifies and investigates new matters with domestic and international litigation funders and insurers. In addition to Katrina’s experience as a plaintiff lawyer, she has also expanded into defendant work for class actions.

Katrina has particular expertise with the superannuation industry and investment funds in the class actions context and she provides strategic and commercial advice to her clients.

She holds a Masters of Law, Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney. Prior to joining William Roberts Lawyers, Katrina gained valuable dispute resolution experience at international and boutique law firms. Katrina also worked in academia teaching Corporations Law at the University of Sydney.
