Katrina Li


Katrina advises a range of corporate clients including financial institutions, litigation funders and publicly listed companies on contractual breaches, commercial litigation, regulatory compliance and obligations under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASX Listing Rules.

Katrina’s current practice includes shareholder class actions and other representative proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia.  Katrina manages complex multi-party litigation and works on identifying and investigating new matters with domestic and international litigation funders and insurers.

Katrina has particular expertise in working with superannuation funds, asset managers and investment funds in the class actions context and she provides commercial and pragmatic advice that navigates through the intricacies of this area of law.

Katrina holds a Masters of Law, Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney.  Prior to joining William Roberts Lawyers, Katrina gained valuable dispute resolution experience at international and boutique law firms.  Katrina has also worked in academia teaching Corporations Law at the University of Sydney.
