Eric Vuu

Eric graduated Sydney Law School with a Distinction average and was awarded the Monahan Prize for Litigation. Eric has gained exposure to a wide variety of complex legal matters, including contract law, insurance law, administrative law and criminal law.

During his time at university, Eric was awarded various scholarships, including the David Burnett Scholarship in Social Justice, the University of Sydney Entry Scholarship and a New Colombo mobility scholarship grant to overseas in Malaysia and Indonesia. Eric is also currently a casual academic at Western Sydney University in procedure and evidence.

Eric previously served as Judge’s Associate to the former NSW Attorney-General. In this role, Eric was able to observe a range of different civil matters, ranging from disputes over commercial contracts, property and various tortious claims. Eric was also required to proofread and edit judgments for publication.

Eric’s experience includes:-

  • Advising insurer clients with respect to quantum and liability disputes;
  • Representing clients, compiling evidence, making submissions in litigated recovery and defended property damage matters;
  • Advising in representative proceedings in the Federal Court in mass torts and shareholder claims.
