| Background |
| Bill is a founding shareholder and director of William Roberts Lawyers and has vast experience as a commercial litigator, having practiced in all court jurisdictions with a special interest in construction disputes, class actions and insolvency. Bill obtained his Bachelors Degree in Law with First Class Honours and also holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce, with a major in Accounting. Bill is a life member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and has also guest lectured at the University of Western Sydney. Bill supports various community and education initiatives and as part of these initiatives is a Judge of the Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot. |

Bill recently advised a property developer on the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 and instigated a successful mediation, avoiding costly court proceedings for his client. |

Acting for a landowner who had their construction contractor initiate proceedings against them in the Consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal, Bill identified a jurisdictional and threshold issue and, at the hearing, successfully argued that the Tribunal did not have jurisdiction. The matter was successfully dismissed with costs in favour of the landowner. |
