Tathra Bushfire

On Sunday 18 March 2018, a bushfire swept through the town of Tathra on the New South Wales south coast.  The fire damaged or destroyed 100 houses, contents, caravans and cabins.  Many people have been displaced from their homes and may have to spend many months in alternative accommodation.

William Roberts Lawyers and IMF Bentham are working together to investigate possible claims for compensation arising from the Tathra bushfire.

We are gathering information from people who have been affected.  This information will be used to evaluate whether in the future there may be viable legal claims for compensation, including losses not covered by insurance.

If you believe you have suffered loss or damage as a result of the Tathra bushfire, William Roberts Lawyers invites you to provide your details by clicking on the following link https://www.imf.com.au/tathra.

Once you have provided your details, you will then be sent a questionnaire asking for more information about your situation.  Please fill in the questionnaire and return it to IMF.  We will then keep you updated as to whether any potential legal claims arise.  All information provided will be treated confidentially and in accordance with IMF’s privacy policy.
